KUALA LUMPUR: Herbalogi.ai has formed a partnership with iMedikel Pharma Holding Bhd to explore the potential role of artificial intelligence (AI) in developing medicine for the long-Covid-19 problem, specifically addressing the “brain fog” symptoms.

The collaboration will leverage Herbalogi.ai’s expertise in AI to create new medicinal herb formulations, while iMedikel Pharma will provide its expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing to produce these formulations at scale.

“The partnership aims to bring innovative and effective treatments to patients suffering from long-Covid symptoms, including ‘brain fog’, a condition in which patients experience difficulty concentrating, confusion, and memory loss,” Herbalogi.ai chief executive officer Dr Azam Che Idris said in a statement.

“Our cutting-edge AI algorithms will help identify the most effective combinations of herbal compounds to target ‘brain fog’ and other long-Covid symptoms,” he added.

iMedikel president Yusmat Mamat said its extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution would enable it to quickly and efficiently bring new treatments to market to help patients struggling with long-Covid-19.
